GENERAL INFORMATION

Why do the hotels cost different amounts?

Our Vivea Hotels are divided into two price categories. The new or modernised Vivea Hotels are in a higher price category.

What happens if I have to cancel my stay?

Cancellation conditions in the Vivea Hotels:

-> Cancellation up to 7 days before arrival is free of charge

In the event of cancellation within 7 days, we reserve the right to charge the following cancellation fees:

6 days to 1 day before arrival: 25% of the total amount of the booked stay
On the day of arrival: 80% of the total amount of the booked stay
In case of no-show: 100% of the total amount of the booked stay

We reserve the right to reserve 25% of the price of the stay on your credit card as security (amount is reserved on the credit card but not yet debited).

Special cancellation conditions agreed in individual cases take precedence over these regulations.

Cancellation conditions at DAS SIEBEN:

Smart Deal
It is not possible to cancel or rebook a reservation free of charge. In the event of a no-show, unused rooms or early departure, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
Comfort Flex
Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival is free of charge.
Rebooking up to 7 days before arrival is free of charge.

In the event of cancellation within 30 days, we reserve the right to charge the following cancellation fees:

- 29 days to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount of the booked stay
- 14 days to 0 days: 90% of the total amount of the booked stay
Premium Flex
Cancellation up to 3 days before arrival is free of charge.
Rebooking up to 1 day before arrival is free of charge.

In the event of cancellation within 3 days, we reserve the right to charge the following cancellation fees:

- On the day of arrival: 90% of the total amount of the booked stay

We reserve the right to reserve 25% of the price of the stay on your credit card as security (amount is reserved on the credit card but not yet debited).

Special cancellation conditions agreed in individual cases take precedence over these regulations.

Are there more favourable offers such as mid-season, last-minute offers, a regular customer bonus or other discounts?

We offer various forms of discounts.

In addition to our early booking discount, we also offer loyalty bonuses, gift vouchers and a best price guarantee for direct bookings.

Can I also book a short stay?

The following short stays are available, for example:

Time out - 3 or 4 nights (bookable at all Vivea Hotels)
Detox days - 3, 4 or 5 nights (bookable exclusively at the Vivea Hotel Umhausen in Ötztal)
Midweek special - 2 nights (bookable exclusively at DAS SIEBEN)
Taster days - 3 nights (bookable exclusively at DAS SIEBEN)

What is the Vivea loyalty bonus?

We value the trust of our guests.

For every week you spend in one of our Vivea 4* hotels, you will receive a loyalty bonus of € 30 (per week's stay).

Regardless of the length of your next stay, you can claim your personal loyalty bonus in all our Vivea 4* hotels.

Valid for private arrivals. Does not apply to long-term stays of 6 weeks or more and stays made via a contractual partner. One-time bonus that can be redeemed on your next private stay within 13 months from the date of departure (redeemable from one month after the date of issue). One loyalty bonus card can be redeemed per person and stay. If the loyalty bonus card is lost, it will not be replaced. The loyalty bonus can be redeemed in all Vivea 4* hotels.

Are pets allowed in the hotels?

For health reasons, pets are not permitted in all Vivea Hotels.

Dogs are welcome in the following Vivea Hotels:

Are the hotels wheelchair accessible?

All Vivea Hotels and DAS SIEBEN are barrier-free, and there are also a number of wheelchair-accessible rooms to choose from.

Please note: some areas, such as some of the swimming pools, are difficult or impossible to access with a wheelchair.

Is there a special children's programme or facilities for children?

The Vivea Hotel Bad Bleiberg offers a special children's programme during the summer months (July to August).

Weekly leisure programme:
Once a week, our Vivea Hotel Bad Bleiberg dedicates an exciting supporting programme especially to our younger guests.

We will enchant your children with magical magic tricks, a small petting zoo or colourful face painting.

You will also find an intergenerational playground for the whole family just a few minutes' walk away.

EAT & DRINK

Can allergies and special diets be taken into account?

Special diets such as gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan are available on request and after consultation with our team of dieticians. We will of course take any intolerances and allergies into consideration.

A meal plan is drawn up specifically according to your requirements and passed on to our kitchen teams for further processing.

Are there vegan / vegetarian / alkaline dishes?

How long is my voucher valid for?

-> Vouchers that you can purchase in our online shop or in our Vivea Hotels are valid and redeemable indefinitely.

-> Vouchers that are raffled off or issued as part of a competition, special offers or promotions are valid for a limited time. The period of validity is noted individually on the respective voucher.

How or where can I redeem my vouchers?

All vouchers purchased can be redeemed both at Vivea Hotels and at DAS SIEBEN. Vouchers can only be redeemed for services provided by Vivea Hotels. Cash payment, reimbursement or the purchase of other vouchers is not possible.

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

Is there a car park directly at the hotel?

All Vivea Hotels and DAS SIEBEN offer you a free car park or underground parking space (per room).

In order to ensure a safe, orderly and smooth process, we kindly ask you to take note of the following garage regulations(.pdf) and to comply with them. By entering the underground car park, you accept these garage regulations as binding.

Is there a way to charge my e-car / e-bike?

In all Vivea Hotels, hotel guests can charge their e-car at the hotel's own e-charging stations (for a fee).

E-bikes can be charged free of charge (in the bike room).

Is there a shuttle service from / to the hotel?

Our Vivea Hotels offer a shuttle service by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

We prefer to utilise the healing power of nature. Natural healing resources are always localised; the basic substance is not changed in its composition.

The Beauty Lounge with Dr Spiller cosmetic treatments and products is located in the Vivea Hotels.

Beauty treatments can be booked in the Beauty Lounge in advance by telephone or on site, depending on availability. We recommend that you book your favourite treatments in advance so that we can take your wishes into account.

Are there enough cycle paths in the neighbourhood?

Depending on the region, numerous cycle tours lead through forests and meadows, past beautiful lakes and unspoilt nature or with sporty climbs through a unique mountain world. Fantastic routes await mountain bikers, racing cyclists, e-bikers and leisure cyclists. Our reception team will be happy to provide you with information about the cycle routes in the respective region.

Can I go hiking in the surrounding area?

MY CURE

What do I have to do if I want to apply for a cure?

The way to your spa stay via associations, insurance companies and health insurance funds in Austria:

1) Submit an application (general practitioner, specialist), specify the desired Vivea Hotel.
Please contact your general practitioner or specialist. They must justify the medical necessity of a cure and fill in the necessary application form. You (or your doctor) can specify the desired contract facility (Bad Bleiberg, Bad Eisenkappel, Bad Häring, Bad Goisern, Bad Schönau Zum Landsknecht, Bad Schönau Zur Quelle, Bad Traunstein, Bad Vöslau, Umhausen im Ötztal). Your application will then be forwarded to the responsible insurance provider.

2) Wait for approval from the insurance provider
If the stay is approved, you as the applicant and we as the hotel will receive a declaration of assumption of costs from the insurance provider.

3) Invitation letter from the hotel
We will automatically send you the invitation letter with the proposed date for your stay.
This contains all information on the deductible and any costs incurred.

4) Start of treatment on the agreed date

Can I choose my own therapies during a cure?

You are entitled to a certain number of therapies per stay as part of a cure received through your insurance company.

The aim is to achieve the best possible cure success through a balanced mix of therapies.

You will receive your therapy plan after consultation with our team of doctors and therapists on site.

What exactly is this "active healthcare"?

Gesundheitsvorsorge aktiv (GVA for short) is a new treatment programme offered by the Pension Insurance Institution (PVA) for people who are applying for treatment for the first time and are in the middle of their working life.

The aim of GVA is to improve physical and mental well-being. In addition to maintaining and promoting health, the cure also has an important preventive character. It supports patients in positively influencing their lifestyle in the long term and thus sustainably improves their quality of life.
